The team

This is a key senior role within the Customer Engagement Product Delivery team. A dynamic and exciting team with lots of potential for growth, you will be central to driving the product delivery in order to offer a great customer experience.

Role Summary

As a Product Delivery Manager you will deliver high quality products and game-changing improvements in close collaboration with commercial teams and base decision on customer benefits, competitor insight and data. You will line manage and coach a team of Product Owners and will be responsible for developing and leading Paddy Power Betfair eCommerce products, from delivering and maintaining to optimizing them against the overall company objectives.

The Customer Engagement Product Delivery Manager will be responsible for:

  • leading product delivery effort for major cross-area projects since ideation, collaborating with all business functions and areas involved
  • guiding the definition of business requirements for major projects, working closely with commercial product management
  • advising on options to achieve the desired outcomes based on product understanding at a business and functional level
  • managing stakeholder relations throughout the project lifecycle

Key Responsibilities

  • Contributor to the product strategy, performance and planning
  • Strategic thinking and tactical execution
  • Act as a key link between Commercial, Marketing, Operations, Delivery Assurance, Project Management
  • Support creation of product roadmaps using key inputs
  • Optimise the customer experience through managing the products and using data to improve and optimise the journeys
  • Create/maintain close working relationships with delivery teams, product peers, and 3rd party vendors
  • Leading and coaching a team of product owners
  • Defining ways of working for the team within the department, recommend and implement process improvements to ensure optimal quality and productivity
  • Recruitment, performance management, people development

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, drive for simplicity and clarity
  • Excellent organizational skills and time management
  • Proven track record at delivering top quality product
  • Proven track record at creating clear strategic and tactical product plans
  • Strong eCommerce background and customer focus
  • Ability to understand technical architecture at a high level
  • Experience of managing product requirements for diverse teams
  • Experience with working in Agile/Scrum
